華納遊戲官方確認《霍格華茲的傳承》支持家庭共享功能，預購豪華版的玩家可提前3天搶先體驗，玩家同樣可以通過家庭共享的方式體驗遊戲。但需要注意遊戲不能同時遊玩，且Steam用戶最多僅可授權5個用戶共享自己的遊戲庫。
《霍格華茲的傳承》將於2月10日正式推出，豪華版預購玩家PC版2月8日凌晨2點解鎖；主機版玩家2月7日0點解鎖。
