《聖火降魔錄：萬縷千絲》是一款由Intelligent Systems製作、任天堂發行的角色扮演遊戲，即將於2026年9月17日發售，登陸Switch 2平台。
前一段時間，任天堂為《聖火降魔錄：萬縷千絲》舉辦了一期專題發布會，同時公布了遊戲的許多細節。在主角捏人部分，本作並不提供傳統的男女性別選項，而是更「現代」的AB型。
而據遊戲推主Pirat_Nation分享，此舉引發了部分玩家的不滿。
The new Fire Emblem game is getting backlash from Japan and Western users after Nintendo showed the character creator. Instead of 「Male」 and 「Female,」 the body options are labeled Type A and Type B. Fans see it as a 「pathetic」 avoidance of basic biological terms and a form of localization pandering that solves no real problem.
不少玩家都指出，這種設定讓人「精疲力竭」，雖然不至於徹底毀掉遊戲體驗，但確實非常令人厭煩。更有玩家吐槽，這一作已經有了太多棕皮膚或者黑皮膚的角色，現在又在性別選項上動手腳，實在令人討厭。
不過，也有玩家指出，這種設定往往並不會在本質上影響遊戲本身，因此到頭來玩家們「還是會去玩的」。
