5月6日消息,微軟Xbox新任首席執行官阿薩·夏爾馬(Asha Sharma)今日在X平台確認,公司將逐步關閉移動端Gaming Copilot,並停止主機端Copilot的開發工作。Gaming Copilot是微軟針對遊戲場景推出的AI輔助功能,旨在幫助玩家解謎、獲取攻略提示,但因可能縮短遊戲時長、竊取現有攻略內容而引發爭議。

該功能此前已在PC、移動端和主機平台推出。上線後爭議不斷,主要集中在單機遊戲場景:AI助手可能讓玩家過快解開謎題,削弱探索樂趣;更關鍵的是,部分攻略內容非原創生成,直接取自現有攻略網站和社區,引發內容創作者的不滿。此外,Gaming Copilot整體反響冷淡,Xbox旗下工作室內部也未見熱情。
