美國一輛特斯拉Cybertruck在湖裡拋錨，直接把車和司機一起送上了新聞，場面十分尷尬。
事情發生在美國德克薩斯州北部的格雷普韋恩湖，當地警方和消防局接到報警，說有輛Cybertruck開進了湖裡。
後來了解到，司機為了體驗傳說中的涉水模式，直接把車開進了湖裡，結果車輛突然失去動力，直接困在了水裡。車上的乘客嚇得棄車逃生，司機也被警方逮捕。
Yesterday, GPD and GFD were dispatched to Grapevine Lake, where a Tesla Cybertruck was stranded in the water. The driver drove into the lake to use the 「Wade Mode」 feature when the vehicle became disabled. The passengers abandoned the vehicle and the driver was arrested.
這事一出，大家就想起了馬斯克早年的宣傳。他說過Cybertruck防水性能夠強，能臨時當船用，能過河、過湖，甚至風不大的海面都能撐住。
不少車主信了這話，把車當成船來開，之前已經出現過Cybertruck困在水中的報道。這次司機直接把車開去湖裡試水，結果又一次翻車了。
其實官方說的涉水能力，本來是指短時間、低水位的應急涉水，不是讓你把車直接開去湖裡當船開。
Cybertruck雖然有涉水模式，能應對城市積水、淺灘路段，但根本不具備長時間漂浮和航行的能力，這次事故也給不少車主提了個醒，別拿宣傳極限當日常用法。
