不過，近日有玩家也貼出了對比，並開玩笑稱二者並不相似！以一種巧妙的方式諷刺了近些年遊戲圈遭受政治正確入侵、埃洛伊「發胖」等現象。當然，這並不能作為實際的論據駁斥侵權爭議。
他開玩笑表示：法官大人，《地平線：零卡路里》（Horizon Zer0 Calories）中的角色與我們的角色明顯不符。埃洛伊有明顯的雙下巴——而我們的女性角色沒有。此外，與索尼的遊戲不同，我們的角色自我認同為女性，並且顯然是異性戀。
