《新蝙蝠俠2》聯合編劇Mattson Tomlin表示，好萊塢的關注點正在從漫畫書轉向電子遊戲。
Mattson Tomlin曾一度參與《洛克人》電影項目。最近，他在社交媒體上回復了一位詢問電影進展的網友，以及他是否還在參與。Mattson表示，他本人也不知道《洛克人》電影是否已經被取消，但自己已經退出了該項目。
隨後Mattson表示，《洛克人》電影項目有可能被製作出來，因為在經歷了多年的漫畫改編電影之後，電子遊戲正在成為好萊塢下一個主要的故事講述重點。
「好萊塢似乎正在從痴迷漫畫轉向痴迷電子遊戲，所以如果它以某種形式面世，我不會感到驚訝，但經過這麼長時間，我不太可能參與其中了。」
