歐盟委員會發布公告稱，根據《數字服務法案》作出首份「不合規決定」，對社交媒體平台X罰款1.2億歐元。
隨後，馬斯克忍無可忍，連發多條資訊抨擊歐盟這一罰款決定。
馬斯克表示：「歐盟不僅對 X 處以如此荒謬的罰款，還對我個人處以罰款，這簡直太荒唐了！」
「因此，我們不僅應該對歐盟，還應該對那些針對我採取這種行動的人作出回應。」

此外，美國政府還譴責歐盟對社交媒體 X 公司處以罰款，認為此舉特別針對美國公司。
美國總統川普稱，如果歐盟繼續懲罰美國科技企業，美國將對歐盟加征關稅。
