Xbox和PlayStation都在回歸獨占，Xbox剛剛在過去的Xbox Showcase發表會上宣布單人遊戲，是否獨占將具體看遊戲而定。而PlayStation也剛剛結束了第一方單機遊戲移植到PC。
而根據彭博社記者的爆料，索尼PlayStation的獨占策略更徹底，根本不分遊戲，今後任何單機遊戲都是PS獨占。
