索尼進軍即時服務型遊戲的轉型並不順利，一路上坎坎坷坷，先後取消了《最後生還者》多人遊戲，《星鳴特工》停服，《戰神》服務型遊戲，《烈火戰車》服務型遊戲，此外還有Bend工作室、倫敦工作室以及Deviation Games的服務型遊戲等等。
然而，據業內分析師爆料，索尼又一款即時服務遊戲——2023年公布的服務型遊戲《Fairgames》，現在也已經被取消。
《Fairgames》於2023年的PlayStation發表會上公布，由Haven Studios打造，目標是成為一款競技型專注於PvP的搶劫射擊遊戲。然而自公布以來，索尼和Haven Studios都保持了沉默，再也沒有新的預告片，更新或發售窗口公布。
此前有傳聞稱，《Fairgames》被延期到了2026年，但業內分析師Michael Patcher在其YouTube 頻道上說《Fairgames》已經被取消。
據稱，這款看起來「覺醒味十足」的PC/PS5即時服務遊戲，在外部測試結果不佳後，工作室創始人兼遊戲領導Jade Raymond離開了工作室，直接導致索尼砍掉了這款遊戲。

不過前IGN記者Destin在和分析師本人Michael Patcher取得聯繫後，Patcher收回了之前的消息。他說：「我說錯了。我說Jade被解僱了，然後就以為遊戲取消了。我對這個遊戲一無所知。隨便引用一下，我真的不知道它是否被取消了。」
