據《惡靈古堡》資深爆料人AestheticGamer透露，《惡靈古堡9》將幾乎肯定在即將到來的夏季遊戲節上亮相併宣布。
AestheticGamer曾有過多次關於生化系列的精準預測，他最近在社交媒體表示，雖然不能100%肯定，也沒有直接消息，但他95%肯定《惡靈古堡9》將在即將到來的夏季遊戲節上亮相。

夏季遊戲節由TGA的創始人傑夫・吉斯利策劃，是各大廠商重要的宣發平台。今年將於美太平洋時間6月6日舉行，還有不到一周時間。
《惡靈古堡9》項目已傳聞多年，卡普空尚未宣布。遊戲傳說將以里昂為主角，玩法大幅革新，堪比生化4和生化7，關於是否將作為開放世界遊戲的設定還有爭議。
在此之前，AestheticGame曾預測《惡靈古堡9》將在2026年第一季度發售。
