據知名舅舅Dusk Golem爆料，《惡靈古堡1：重製版》最近現已進入全面製作階段，儘管距離推出尚有4-7年時間。
Dusk Golem此前曾準確爆料里昂會加入《惡靈古堡9》，儘管遭到Capcom官方的一再否認，但他還是堅持自己的情報為真，後來也得到證實，所以其爆料可信度較高。

此前，Dusk Golem透漏《惡靈古堡0》和《惡靈古堡：聖女密碼》將是該系列接下來將要重製的兩款遊戲。

不過，Dusk Golem也承認《惡靈古堡1：重製版》在製作初期就有可能被取消，畢竟Capcom對自家項目就有這種先例。
有趣的是，這並非Capcom第一次重製《惡靈古堡1》。原版遊戲早在二十多年前就被重製過，但這次的重製版將是一個更加雄心勃勃的項目。
如果《惡靈古堡1：重製版》真的能夠面世，粉絲們可以期待使用RE引擎的全新版本，並給予這款遊戲頂級待遇。
