哥吉拉（Godzilla）這一經典怪獸IP再度突破想像邊界！英文官方近日宣布，將於2026年4月8日推出全新漫畫作品《羅密歐與朱麗葉與哥吉拉》（Romeo & Juliet and Godzilla），消息一出，全球粉絲集體陷入「黑人問號」模式：「這倆咋湊一塊兒了?」

本作是全新系列「哥吉拉的怪獸傑作劇場」（Godzilla’s Monsterpiece Theatre Presents）的首部作品，計劃共推出四冊。系列以「將哥吉拉植入世界文學名作」為核心概念，通過怪獸視角重新解構經典故事。首部選定莎士比亞悲劇《羅密歐與朱麗葉》，在保留家族對立、禁忌戀情等原作元素的同時，加入哥吉拉級別的「大規模破壞」——義大利維羅納古城或將迎來災難級衝擊。
官方同步公開了四款不同封面設計及五頁試閱內容。試閱畫面顯示，哥吉拉、摩斯拉（Mothra）及機械哥吉拉（Mechagodzilla）在中世紀風格的維羅納街道上「大鬧天宮」，場景與文學氣質形成強烈反差。然而，漫畫仍試圖刻畫羅密歐與朱麗葉在混亂中堅守愛情的劇情，營造出「怪獸拆城，情侶虐戀」的荒誕喜劇感。
除主線故事外，書中還將收錄五頁短篇《哥吉拉與羅賓漢和他的快樂夥伴》（Godzilla Meets Robin Hood and His Merry Band of Outlaws）。該短篇將以連載形式分散收錄於四冊中，最終拼湊成完整敘事，暗示後續將有更多「文學×哥吉拉」的跨界組合。
