在《刃牙》主角范馬勇次郎正式確認為《鐵拳8》第三季第四位DLC角色後，開發商萬代南夢宮近日澄清：同步推出的新場景「SUBSEA LOCKDOWN」(海底封鎖)並非基於《刃牙》系列設計。
由於范馬勇次郎的預告片中出現了這一新場景，部分粉絲誤以為該格鬥舞台也直接取自《刃牙》動畫或漫畫。為此，《鐵拳》製作人團隊通過Yasuda Esports官方賬號發布聲明，澄清了相關誤解。
聲明全文如下：「我們非常激動地看到大家對於范馬勇次郎加入《鐵拳8》的熱烈反響。非常感謝大家的支持。為了避免任何混淆，我們想就新場景『SUBSEA LOCKDOWN』的性質作出說明。」
We are absolutely thrilled by the incredible response to Yujiro Hanma joining TEKKEN 8. Thank you all so much for your support. To prevent any confusion, we would like to clarify the nature of the new stage, 「SUBSEA LOCKDOWN」. This stage was planned and developed as a completely new, original TEKKEN battle stage. It is not based on any designs or settings from the Baki series. The BGM was also originally composed and produced specifically for this stage. Yujiro Hanma’s teaser trailer features the world premiere of the background track created exclusively for 「SUBSEA LOCKDOWN」. Put on your headphones, turn up the volume, and experience the pure intensity for yourselves!
據開發團隊介紹，該場景是「作為一個全新的、原創的《鐵拳》戰鬥舞台進行規劃和開發的」，並未基於《刃牙》系列的任河設計或設定。官方同時確認，該場景的背景音樂也是專門為其新創作的：「BGM同樣是為這個舞台原創製作和編曲的。范馬勇次郎的先導預告片中使用的正是為『SUBSEA LOCKDOWN』獨家創作的背景音樂的世界首秀。請戴上耳機，調高音量，親身體驗那份純粹的熱血與震撼!」
萬代南夢宮此前已確認，范馬勇次郎是《鐵拳8》第三季季票中包含的第四位角色。
