博主表示,《惡靈古堡6》的轉變更像是一種自然演進——當系列的標誌性角色要面對的是全球範圍的生化災難時,更偏向動作化的設計是合乎邏輯的結果。
反觀《惡靈古堡7》,它在規模上大幅收縮,與系列整體幾乎脫節。玩家扮演的是一個連臉都看不到的角色,這種設定並沒有明確的敘事必要性;同時,遊戲大量使用近似「超自然」的恐怖元素(即便設定上並非真正超自然,但呈現方式幾乎就是如此)。
博主解釋道,相比之下,自己更願意接受一種基於世界觀與劇情自然發展而產生的動作取向,而不是在一個「大宅+小屋」的熟悉框架(明顯致敬《惡靈古堡1》)中,拼貼一些老元素,卻配上令人出戲的角色塑造。所謂「更人性化」「更真實」的說法也站不住腳——主角被砍斷手還能當場接回去,關鍵時刻還拋出極其愚蠢的台詞,這並不比以往更真實。

I’ll take Chris and Leon any day over that, even though there is no RE game that I dislike, RE6 wins over RE7 and Village🎤
