Why are there so many game remasters and remakes that some game studios never seem to get right? Upgrading the textures and small fixes in terms of gameplay is always welcome addition, but somehow they completely screw up the lighting and distinct visual art style. Some of these results could happen due to multiple factors; like outsourcing the work to another game studio (looking at you Rockstar) but I still think that even if these projects get outsourced, its the obligation of the publishing company to review the remaster they're about to release before giving it a greenlight. I'll even go as far as to say that if you don't know what you're doing as a gaming company when making a remaster and are trying to make quick cash, please don't butcher the visual art style that made that game special on the first place, just upgrade the resolution of the game for consoles and add a 60FPS patch. Some remasters feel like they ruining one of the most important aspects that stuck with gamers who have played it and want to experience it again. This is why I often choose to play the original game instead of the remaster
@NiKTek說:

Goes like this: >Hire a visionary to create a stellar game franchise. >Fire them so you won't have to share profits. >Hire cheap labor to remaster the original game so you can continue profiting. >Cheap labor isn't able to reproduce the magic of the original.
