近日，Bungie為《馬拉松》開啟了BETA公測，已測試伺服器強度，但外媒報道稱這款極具爭議的遊戲在PS商店上的評分只有3.04星，甚至要低於PS最爛的第一方遊戲《星鳴特攻》（3.5星）。
目前《馬拉松》在全球PSN上共有超過13119條評價，儘管40%的用戶給出5星好評，但也有差不多數量的用戶給出1星最負評價，占比38%。
一些玩家因為其美術風格而稱其體驗糟糕透頂，下載完全是浪費時間。而那些喜歡其配色方案的玩家卻對遊戲機制感到不滿，因此玩家的整體評價褒貶不一。

Highguard suffered LESS of a drop off in players in a 24 hour span than Marathon did. To people blinded by a crotch in their face this is no big deal. Free Beta falters harder than Concordlike Highguard but I'm sure multiples will pay $40 for Vomit. Plagiarist Bungie is saved.
