《帝國時代2：決定版》的PS5版本將於2025年5月6日正式發售。如果玩家預購的是高級版，則可在5月1日提前體驗。目前，標準版與高級版均已開放預購，標準版售價為238港幣，高級版售價358港幣。
《帝國時代2》最初於1999年發布，本次即將登陸PS5的版本將包含「4K超高清畫質、全面重製的原聲音樂」，以及三款內置在基礎遊戲中的擴展內容：《西方領主》（Lords of the West）、《印度王朝》（Dynasties of India）以及《公爵的黎明》（Dawn of the Dukes）。
除了完整收錄過往內容外，本次決定版還包含了多個後續DLC包，這些額外內容也都包含在高級版中。
