3月31日，海外博主NanoBaiter在推特爆料，揭露印度詐騙者卡比爾·辛格冒充蘋果客服實施詐騙，反被自己反制的全過程，推特內容獲超兩百萬瀏覽。
2/ Kabir runs a classic refund tech support scam out of his apartment complex in New delhi, India. It starts with a fake invoice (Amazon, PayPal etc) saying you were charged and need to call for a refund. That number goes to scammers who take over your computer and walk you through a fake 「refund」 to drain your bank account.
4/ Here’s how I identified him: 1. I accessed his webcam and snapped a clear shot of his face. 2. He was dumb enough to name his computer after his real name: Kabir Singh 3. The wifi card on his laptop was active, letting me trace his exact location
6/ So we wanted to ragebait Kabir, and we built a fake site to trick him into thinking we were redeeming/stealing the gift cards. We tested the site on the same group of scammers he works with.

當卡比爾試圖詐騙NanoBaiter時，對方反將一軍，假意提供虛擬機訪問權限，實則黑進卡比爾的筆記本電腦。NanoBaiter通過其激活的無線網卡追蹤到精確坐標（28.6699358，77.0671473），藉助攝影機拍下其清晰面部照片，還發現卡比爾竟用自己的真名命名電腦，輕鬆鎖定其身份。
為反擊卡比爾，NanoBaiter團隊搭建假網站，偽裝成正在兌現、盜取禮品卡的樣子，還在其詐騙團伙中測試網站可行性，最終當著卡比爾的面，通過其自身攝影機直播兌現了價值1萬美元的禮品卡。
事後，NanoBaiter向德里警方喊話，稱卡比爾這類詐騙者正在毀掉他人生活，願意提供更多證據，並呼籲警方採取行動保護無辜民眾。
