奧特曼又又又又口出狂言了。
在印度 Express Adda 的論壇上，Sam Altman 聊了很多 AI 話題，從 AGI 到中美 AI 競爭，再到數據中心用水問題。但最火的那段，是他回應 AI 能耗批評時說的：「人們總談訓練 AI 模型需要多少能源……但訓練人類也需要大量能源，得花 20 年時間，消耗那麼多食物，才能變聰明。」
這話說錯了——人吃了 40 年的飯都未必有這麼聰明。
這話聽起來只是個比喻，但一傳開，就被解讀成 AI vs 人類的「效能大戰」。Altman 到底想表達什麼？簡單說，他覺得大家批評 AI 時，總拿「訓練模型」的總能耗和人類「回答一個問題」的瞬間能耗比，這不公平。
人類也不是生下來就是大聰明，從嬰兒到成人，吃喝拉撒 20 年，還得加上學校教育、社會教育，這些都消耗食物、水、電等等能源。如果算「全生命周期成本」，AI 其實挺高效的，訓練一次，就能無限次回答問題，而人類每次思考還得再燒腦子——大腦耗能約 20 瓦。
換言之，在他看來，AI 不是能源殺手，而是未來文明的必需品，就像電燈發明時也有人擔心蠟燭業失業一樣。這個觀點不是 Altman 首創。早在 AI 熱潮前，就有專家比過生物大腦和矽晶片的效率。但 Altman 作為 OpenAI 老大，說出來的話影響力巨大，瞬間成了 X 熱點，影片有兩千多萬次瀏覽，引爆了討論。
人類尊嚴，AI 是工具還是「更好的人類」？
Altman 把人類成長比作「訓練」，聽起來像把人當機器。這讓很多人不爽，覺得貶低了人類的價值——生命不是數據輸入輸出啊！
人一生的自然進化中，不僅有產出，還有情感、教育、成長的喜悅，這些能量計算不來，在輿論場上，這點被放大。一個YouTuber打出標題「OpenAI CEO Argues Energy Is More Wasteful On Humans Than AI， Goes Very Poorly」，說 Altman 的言論進行得很糟糕。
X 上，@BrianRoemmele 直呼震驚，覺得這是給 AI 行業招黑，「片面思考，反人類。重視人類勝過 AI——永遠。」

當然，也有用戶幫忙解釋，「這不是要取代人類，只是更準確計算自動化成本。」 他也承認 Altman 這樣說不好，但是要理性、中立、客觀地看待。於是，真的有人認真算起來了，然後悲催的發現，自己一天什麼都沒做，就消耗了卡路里。
不止他一個，還有很多支持派覺得 Altman 點醒了大家。資訊總有成本，之前沒有算過，現在算起來細思極恐，Altman 的說法是讓大家正視這件事。

Producing human intelligence has energetic costs beyond the 15-20 watts a brain ‘runs’ on」 「Oh so you want to kill humans and replace them with robots?」 No bitch that’s a whole new sentence. I’m not gonna say Sam Altman is a saint, far from it, if he’s right he is putting himself in a position of great power over us, with little accountability. But what should be criticized is failing to act in the public interest, flagrantly lying to those close to him, and not doing more to lay out a plan for how we don’t get completely disempowered. This kind of comparison means exactly nothing character wise, it is something many others have done before for no reason other than 「we should be more accurate when considering what the real energetic costs of automation are」
這些反應暗示了 AI 的價值大於成本，可是能不能跟人並列一起算呢？這引發了關於 AI 是否會取代人類的討論。
拿人跟 AI 比？荒唐！
相比之下，負面的批評顯然是更多的，就算這只是個比喻，也非常荒唐。

Altman 的這番話，看上去合理，但也有明顯的邏輯謬誤。人類確實要吃喝 20 年才能「變聰明」，但這 20 年的能量消耗是基線生存，用來維持生命、維持社會運轉，不是專為「產生智能」而額外投入的。哪怕一個人一輩子什麽都不學，躺平當鹹魚，他也得吃飯喝水呼吸。
AN IDIOT EATS JUST AS MUCH FOOD AS A GENIUS. Making a "Smart" person doesn't require any extra food, so there's not really any extra 'energy' cost in educating people. It's just the food we'd be using already to keep people alive. So in sam altman's mind somehow there's a tradeoff between humans BEING ALIVE AND NOT STARVING and AI datacenters.

其次，規模和可複製性完全不同。Altman 想強調「per query」的效率，但他忽略了：人類智能沒法「複製部署」到數據中心裡無限擴容。AI 的真正優勢恰恰在於「訓一次，用一輩子」，而人類是「訓一次，用一輩子還得繼續餵」。如果真要比「單位智能產出每焦耳能量」，AI 在規模化後確實可能碾壓，但用「養孩子總成本」來類比，反而把這個優勢給模糊掉了。
把孩子成長比作「模型訓練」，本質上是把人降格成「低效生物電腦」，這不只是邏輯問題，更是價值觀滑坡。網上很多人直接說「這不是比喻選錯了，而是把尊嚴換成效率的典型技術官僚思維」。
總體看，從 2 月 20 日影片發出來後，這兩天迅速擴散，大概有 30%的回應是正面，中立 20%，負面占 50%。這反映了 AI 話題的兩極化。一方面，它確實戳中了 AI 發展的痛點：能量是瓶頸，但技術的飛輪不能停。另一方面，技術也不能是真空的，最終得回到對人類生活的幫助和改善上。
或許，如 Altman 所說，建設更多清潔能源是一種解法，但也如批評者所言，無論未來出路是什麼，都要尊重人類獨特價值。
