《怪物獵人：荒野》以破紀錄的速度售出了800萬份，在遊戲爆火之後，卡普空官方隨即發起了一項調查問卷，詢問了玩家一系列與本作相關的問題：包括遊戲體驗、《魔物獵人》遊玩經歷以及他們對系列新作的看法等等，完成問卷的玩家可以獲得一張數字壁紙。

然而想要表達自己看法的玩家太多了，這個網站很快就因為「流量過大」一度崩潰無法進入（目前已恢復正常）。雖然無法看到大家填寫的具體內容，但根據留言區的回應以及這幾日的表現，可以想像到有不少玩家都會反饋各種性能問題。
卡普空官方還表示，將會在5月在舉辦一場以產品內容為重點的調查，有要提出建議的玩家不要錯過這兩次機會。
