爆料人表示：《惡靈古堡：代號維羅妮卡》自 2022 年開始開發，現在已有大約 3 年的開發時間。由於開發周期非常順利，所以《惡靈古堡：代號維羅妮卡 重製版》已經提前完成了。而 《惡靈古堡 5 重製版》目前尚未獲得批准。 最後，他強調錶示對這兩件事都有 100% 的把握。

值得注意的是，爆料人被問及《惡靈古堡 5 重製版》未被批准的原因時，他表示：「這其中有多方面的原因，與其他選擇相比，卡普空傾向於製作《惡靈古堡：代號維羅妮卡》與《惡靈古堡0》的重製版，儘管卡普空是大型企業，但他們沒有無限的資源一次性製作所有遊戲。」
