此番表態後，在玩家群體引起了巨大爭議。在Reddit上有網友質疑到底這名社區經理有沒有讀過《獵魔士》小說原著。
而在社交媒體上，有玩家看到這名新上任的社區經理在個人簡介中有「She/Her」代詞，瞬間有種不好的感覺，而翻看之前的留言記錄，似乎明白了什麼。
