近日對於微軟的負面消息頻出，外國某社交媒體用戶自稱是Target和沃爾瑪員工發文透露，這兩大零售商目前已經開始大規模下架Xbox產品。而遊戲推主DestinLegarie轉發該消息，並表示已打電話給當地沃爾瑪求證，得到的回覆是否認清倉的傳聞。

外媒Windows Central也發布後續報道稱，他們也詢問了Target的員工，對方同樣否認大規模下架的說法。在編輯親自走訪當地Target後發現，除Xbox主機缺貨外其他商品仍照常出售。

就連Xbox元老（曾在Xbox擔任領導23年）Larry "Major" Nelson也發文表態："本周我實地探訪多家Target和GameStop，均發現Xbox硬體與遊戲在售。沃爾瑪則Xbox Series X和Xbox Series S都有現貨。
關於零售商究竟有沒有清倉Xbox?Windows Central詢問微軟後得到聲明答覆，強調沃爾瑪、Target等仍是穩固的合作夥伴。
