11月12日，@thevscooper再次發文，曝光了一些《古墓奇兵》新作的初步細節，稱遊戲經過重新打磨，角色塑造更為出色。「勞拉處於巔峰狀態，正值事業鼎盛時期。她追尋著古代皇帝阿育王的神話武器，這些武器擁有征服世界的力量。除此之外，新作的開放世界包含險峻沙漠、懸崖峭壁、茂密叢林與冰雪山脈。」
