PlayStation三十周年之際，索尼為PS5更新了限時紀念主題，遺憾的是經過兩個月的陪伴後，這些主題即將下架。雖然索尼表示在未來的幾個月內返場，但並沒有製作其他主題的計劃。
這也讓部分玩家感到難過。有網友認為，PS3和PS4的主題是多麼有魅力，而PS5好不容易更新了周年主題，為什麼非要下架呢？「一切為了玩家」的的索尼放棄主題功能實在是太可惜了。
