自稱是《恐龍危機》精神續作的PS5獨占遊戲《Code Violet》近期遭遇了一波批評浪潮。開發團隊TeamKill Media曾表示，他們不希望看到帶有低俗內容、冒犯其創作理念及配音演員的MOD，因此決定不推出PC版本。
然而，本作的豪華版卻附帶女主許多性感服裝的獎勵，而且最新預告片也展示了女主較為暴露的服裝設計。這一內容引發了玩家的不滿，許多人認為開發商雙標，只許自己做澀澀賣錢，不許玩家做MOD。
TeamKill Media今日發布推文稱，收到了針對家人的威脅，並指責為何要充滿仇恨地威脅他人生命，就因為一個遊戲嗎？難道不移植到PC就該死，因為沒登陸自己喜歡的平台就去屠殺開發商？
TeamKill Media強調絕不服軟，不會因生命威脅而妥協。面對這種無法理解的愚蠢行為，官方會報警嚴肅處理。
We are now receiving threats against our family… some of you who are so hateful are now going to THREATEN us? Over a video game? This is worth threatening someone’s lives over? You want to kill us for deciding to not bring a game to PC? And you say you represent the PC community. No, we can’t believe that to be true. A whole group of video game players are going to kill video game developers over a game not coming to their preferred platform???? Is this really the state of our world? If you think threatening us is going to accomplish anything you are so beyond wrong. We are going to the Police and FBI. This is suppose to be about games and fun, we are at a loss for how idiotic this is.
