The swimsuit was originally going to be an Epic skin, that decision caused a lot of backlash from Storm fans and some Black players, with accusations that the developers were overlooking Black characters when giving out Legendary skins. They said that Storm was the only female character with a swimsuit that wasn’t Legendary, while the other Epic swimsuits belonged to male characters. This blew up with developers and moderators getting harassment.

但也有玩家持不同意見，認為僅僅是皮膚等級差異就上升到種族主義指控未免小題大做，更不應該對開發者和版主進行人身騷擾。事件最終以網易宣布將暴風女皮膚免費升級為傳說級告終，並承諾未來會有更多相關內容。

I don't play marvel rivals but... am I misunderstanding here, or are they complaining about the skin not being harder to get? really?
Well hopefully @MarvelRivals doesn't bend knee to these people or make a habit out of it. They are not the target audience, and listening to them when it comes to appearances or claims like that, will do more harm to them than good down the road.
