若情報屬實，知名爆料賬號Centro Leaks在社交平台發布的第十世代新圖顯示：一位寶可夢訓練師正使用新型洛托姆滑板車，其功能類似第八世代的洛托姆自行車。據稱該工具將用於陸地地圖移動，且可通過「能量紐帶」與特定寶可夢連接，從而獲得對應寶可夢的穿越能力。飛行系寶可夢能讓滑板車騰空翱翔，水系寶可夢則可助其破浪前行甚至潛入水下，其餘類型依此類推。

此外，部分早期泄露情報因第十世代的機制與開發規模調整已不再準確。Centro Leaks指出：程序化生成系統已被剝離為獨立項目(後亦遭廢棄)，其衍生企劃「Pokopia」由此誕生。類MMO特性也已從第十世代移除並轉為獨立項目，即此前泄露的涵蓋第一至第四世代所有地區的MMO遊戲第十世代的騎行機制不會如早期傳聞覆蓋所有寶可夢，且訓練師將不再直接騎乘寶可夢。
目前尚不清楚其他可能變動，但遊戲背景設定、標題名稱，以及「天氣招式」核心機制與Switch2平台獨占性將保持不變。同一消息源確認遊戲將取消道館設定，玩家理論上離開初始島嶼後即可直面最終「首領」，從而快速通關主線。然而，島嶼程序化生成系統與泄露的「種子寶可夢」概念均不會出現在第十世代，類MMO特性同樣遭到移除。
