2023年4月19日，《地平線：西之絕境》推出「炙炎海岸」DLC，確認了埃洛伊的女同性戀身份。她能與女性夥伴賽卡發展成戀人關係，這也是《地平線》系列中埃洛伊首次與NPC接吻。
