今年7月中我們曾經報道過Microsoft宣布以Xbox Game Pass Core計劃，取代原有首席運營官達21年的Xbox Live Gold會員服務，新計劃在昨日（9月14日）已經正式提供。Microsoft在公布Xbox Game Pass Core時提及會有19款遊戲，最終服務推出時加碼至25款以上，部分市場更多達36款。
跟以往Xbox Live Gold計劃每月提供兩款免費遊戲不同，Game Pass Core用戶可以獲得超過25款免費遊戲，而Microsoft將會每年變更遊戲選擇兩至三次。雖然遊戲數量大幅增加，種類也更多樣化，但費用並沒有因此調高，依然維持每月59元。此外，Game Pass Core也包括會員折扣和網上多人遊戲的連接權限
36款登錄於Game Pass Core的遊戲包括：Among Us、Astroneer、Celeste、Dead Cells、Descenders、Dishonored 2、Doom Eternal Standard Edition、Fable Anniversary、Fallout 4、Fallout 76、Firewatch、Forza Horizon 4 Standard Edition、Gang Beasts、Gears 5 Game of the Year Edition、Golf with your Friends、Grounded、Halo 5: Guardians、Halo Wars 2、Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice、Human Fall Flat、Inside、Limbo、Ori & the Will of the Wisps、Overcooked! 2、Payday 2: Crimewave Edition、Powerwash Simulator、Psychonauts 2、Slay the Spire、Spiritfarer: Farewell Edition、Stardew Valley、State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition、Superliminal、The Elder Scrolls Online、Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge、Unpacking和Vampire Survivors。
