傳奇日本遊戲設計師小島秀夫今天迎來63歲生日。藉此機會，他在社交媒體上向粉絲髮布了一封個人寄語，回顧了過去並分享了未來計劃。小島在帖文中坦言，隨著年齡增長，自己「必須做」和「想做」的事情清單不斷增加，而完成這些事情的時間卻越來越少。但他強調，自己並不打算放慢腳步：「一旦開始做某件事，就不能就這麼丟下不管。」
今年對小島來說格外有意義，他迎來了兩個紀念日：進入遊戲行業40周年，以及自己的工作室小島製作成立10周年。為此，從10月底到12月，東京麻布台之丘畫廊將舉辦「小島製作10周年紀念展」。畫廊入口已經擺放了工作室吉祥物的更新版本，「10周年Ludens」，其X形天線象徵著10周年。
I turned 63. As I get older, the things I 「have to do」 and the things I 「want to do」 continue to increase. At the same time, the time I 「have to do them」 continues to decrease. I constantly need to reassess how I use my time and how I live my life. That said, once you’ve taken something on, you can’t simply put it down and walk away. This year also marks 40 years since I first started creating games, and 10 years since I founded Kojima Productions. From end of October through the end of the year, we are planning to hold the 「KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS 10th Anniversary Exhibition」 at Azabudai Hills Gallery. The Ludens at the entrance has also been changed to the 「10th Anniversary Ludens」 version. While I continue to receive various opportunities and offers, I would like to remain focused on creating games. Thank you for your continued support.
儘管收到眾多邀約和機會，這位遊戲設計師確認，他的首要任務始終不變，創作遊戲。目前，小島製作正在積極推進多個項目：與Xbox Game Studios合作的恐怖遊戲《OD》、動作遊戲《PHYSINT》，以及與A24合作製作的《死亡擱淺》改編電影。在寄語最後，小島感謝了粉絲們多年來的支持。
