Neuralink宣布募得2.8億美元資金。
Neuralink今年5月宣布獲得美國食品藥物管理局（U.S. Food and Drug Administration，FDA）首次人體臨床試驗的許可。該公司正在開發一種極小設備，植入大腦並連接電腦，希望幫助如脊髓損傷和痴呆症等病患恢復行動或交流的能力。
馬斯克（Elon Musk）則在6月法國科技創新展覽會VivaTech上稱，Neuralink預計今年進行首次人體試驗。不過，競爭對手Synchron去年於美國的一項臨床試驗已招募到第一名患者，超越Neuralink提前完成里程碑。
Neuralink可說是發展大腦科技領域最著名的參與者，受到Neuralink帶動下，對此領域感興趣的投資人們援助數十家創業公司。根據私募股權與創投資料庫PitchBook的數據顯示，截至6月26日，神經科技領域的創業公司今年共募得1.43億美元，相比之下，2022年募集資金規模共有2.781億美元，2021年則是5.189億美元。
