以提供《惡靈古堡》情報而聞名的業內人士AestheticGamer1表示，他「95% 肯定」《惡靈古堡9》將在 2025年夏日遊戲節 (SGF) 上亮相。但由於沒有任何消息來源直接告知他們《惡靈古堡9》將參與SGF，因此無法提供「100% 的確認」。然而，目前「小道消息很多」，幕後也「有很多傳言」。
