不過近日《堡壘之夜》的官方支持推特發文表示該限定外觀僅限於在2024年12月之前獲取並在Xbox Series X|S平台遊玩過的玩家才可使用，現在購買該外觀的玩家都將被無條件退回。

不過僅僅過了幾個小時，《堡壘之夜》的官方支持推特再次發文表示官長啞光黑風格的外觀獎勵現已回歸，並對之前的聲明造成的混亂而深表歉意。
雖然Epic方面並未具體告知為何會出現這種情況，但已有玩家對官方在外觀物品變動之後再發布聲明的失誤感到不滿。
